Julie Lucas

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor.
I trained within the NHS Trust.

I have a diploma in integrative counselling,
which means that I work from different theoretical perspectives.

Who is it for?

I mainly work from a person centred perspective and use some CBT and psychodynamic thinking. This means that I will listen to you, I will be accepting and non judgemental and I will walk alongside you while you explore your life’s journey, to help you have a deeper understanding of anything that might be stopping you from moving forward. My approach is sensitive to your needs and I will do my best to help you feel comfortable and safe to explore your problems in a warm and confidential environment.

I am experienced in dealing with many different types of problems including:
  • Abuse
  • Addictions
  • Anger
  • Anxiety and phobias
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Family conflict
  • Personal development
  • Relationship issues
  • Low self esteem
